She was predeceased by: her father Amos Horst. She is survived by: her husband Melvin G. Shumaker; her children, Bryon (Deborah Shumaker) and Brenda (Ron Hufford); her grandchildren, Jamie (Tim Ogden), Whitney (Justin Barlup), Cody (Ashely Hufford) and Chase Hufford; her great grandchildren, Paisley Hufford, Levi Ogden and Jude Ogden; and her siblings, Roy (Ruth Horst), Carolyn Brubaker, Marilyn Denlinger, Lorraine (Art Hostetler), Gladys Horst, Gloria (Jim Rosenberger) and Galen (Jenny Anne Horst). She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
