He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Groff and Lillian Stauffer Groff; his wife Marian Sangrey Groff; and his brothers, Richard and Ira Groff.
He is survived by: his children, Donald E. (Shirley Groff) of Lititz, James L. (Ada Groff) of Manheim, Joanne Walker of Manheim and C. Douglas (Lisa Groff) of Manheim; his brothers, Robert (Lou Groff) of Quarryville and Harold (Pat Groff) of East Petersburg; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Groff of Lititz and Esther Groff of Lancaster. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Petersburg Mennonite Church (6279 Main St, East Petersburg, PA 17520). A reception was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
