He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine Martin (Sensenig); his parents, Phares Longenecker and Emma Longenecker (Miller) of Middletown; his children, Dawn Longenecker (Jim Rice) of Mount Rainier, Christine Longenecker (Richard Shoup) of Lancaster, Fred (Jewel Gingerich Longenecker) of South Bend and Steve of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Jessica Rice (Ben Brokaw) of Takoma Park, Adam Rice of Washington, D. C., Jenae Longenecker (Vince Kurtz) of South Bend, Ind and Jace Longenecker of Goshen; his great grandchild Theodore Brokaw of Takoma Park; his siblings, Helen Lapp (Sam) of Lansdale, Emma Frederick (J. Mark) of Harrisonburg, Edward (Rhoda) of Landis Homes, William (Rodi) of Morson and Ontario; his sister-in-law Miriam Longenecker; his siblings, Martin Longenecker and Alice L. Good; and his brother-in-law Claude Good.
