He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Amanda (Adair) and Daniel Eugene Garner, Sr.; his grandson Peter Garner; and his sisters, Betty Jane Harmes and Patricia Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Denise Nagle (David) of Mt. Gretna, Scott Garner (Cheryl) of Lititz and David Garner (Susan) of Lititz; his stepson Sean Hart (Amanda) of Reading; his grandchildren, Adam Nagle, Amanda Wee, Allison Grimm, Ashley Hoover, Alex Scott, Joie Englehart, Colin Garner, Eric Garner and Nora Hart; and his brother Kenneth Garner (Marlene) of Mt Joy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
