He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Phillips (Evans); and his wife Darlene Phillips (Sweigart). He is survived by: his father Laverne "Sonny" Phillips; his children, Dwain Phillips (Lisa Getz) and Melissa Cordero; his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Dwain Jr., Nicklaus, Christopher and Kelly Marie; and his siblings, Debbie, Robin and Bud.
