He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christian Leaman and Anna Metzler (Walters); his wife Alta Mae Metzler (Boll); his sons, Jonathan (Ann) and Joel (Andrea); his grandchildren, Samantha, Isabelle, Caleb, Katherine, Domingo and Sophia; and his siblings, Barbara Miller (Clyde), Samuel Metzler (Janie), Joseph Metzler (Rhoda), Lillian Yoder (John) and Arlene Carpenter (James).
