Charles Grim Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Grim of Lititz, Pennsylvania, born in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Charles shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charles farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice D. Grim and Mabel I. Grim (Potteiger); his sister Marie Rieser; his niece Nancy L. Rieser; and his nephew Thomas C. Rieser.
He is survived by: his cousins, Mary B. Kreider, Kerry A. Grim, Bruce M. Grim of Tooele, UT, Kevin D. Grim, Ellen R. Grim and Trondheim.
Charlie donated his archives relating to his service at Pearl Harbor and in the Pacific Theater to the Hamburg Area Historical Society so future generations may learn about his experiences.
