He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Beverly Carson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Okello; his stepchildren, David Kamara and Sharon Kamara; his father Carl G. Nilsen of Lititz, PA; and his sister Beth Bjorkman (David) of Leola, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
