He was predeceased by: his parent Claude Bender. He is survived by: his parent Eliesa Nora Downing Bender; his siblings, Paul Bender and Claudia Sciarretta; and his wife Rebecca "Becky" Bender. He is also survived by daughters in law, two step daughters, ten grandchildren and a great grandson.
