She was predeceased by: her parents, Eustace Nelson and Josephine Nelson; her husband Leroy Richardson; her children, Thomas Ciancia, Michael Ciancia and Jennifer Rose Ciancia; and her siblings, Bobby, Eustace, John, Jimmy Nelson and Rose Ferry.

She is survived by: her son David Ciancia; her daughter-in-law Diane Ciancia; and her sister Caroline McGowan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
