He was predeceased by: his father Harry Spevak; his son Robert C. Spevak; his former wife Mildred Spevak; his grandson Chasey Herold; and his siblings, Dorothy Nastasiak, Joann Spevak and Paul Spevak.

He is survived by: his wife Carmen Spevak (Trabosh); his children, Joanne Tyler, Kevin Spevak (Christina), Michael, Mirette and Melissa; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicholas, Kyle, Taylor and Mason; and his siblings, Marie Shaw, Cathy Spevak, Terry Kozeniewski, Gerard Spevak and Paula Kerestus. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
