He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Bell and Effie Carter Bell; his son Randy Bell; and his brothers, Coy, Kenneth and Robert Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bell; his daughter Shelley Primavera (Michael) of Orange, Connecticut; and his sisters, Shirley Calvert (Charles) and Darie Mae. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
