She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert N. Stewart and Irene Shellito Stewart; her husband Phillip John McDermott; and her siblings, Shirley King, Sue Stewart Mika and James R. Stewart.

She is survived by : her brother Fred H. Stewart; her nieces and nephews, Ken King (Renee), Robert King, Ron King (Karyn), Alan King (Chris), Linda King Grinder, David Stewart (Debra), Kathryn Stewart Wielobob (Dave), Paul Stewart (Lisa), Thomas Stewart (Carolyn), John Stewart, Jennette Martenson (Roger), Sandra Swift (Padric), Ron Mika, Fred Stewart and Robert Stewart (Corrine); her caregivers, Linda, Janet, Maureen, Marilyn, Lisa, Megan, Carla and Krystal; and her close friend Laura Ann. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Linesville Presbyterian Church, PO Box 235, Linesville, Pa 16424.

“I’m very sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. Ms Stewart was my music teacher in elementary school. She welcomed me into her home once a week for both piano & clarinet lessons. I always appreciated her taking time out of her personal schedule to help me learn music. You could always tell she loved music and she loved to teach. My class and I were so lucky to have known her.”
