He was predeceased by : his parents, William Cunningham and Lucille Cunningham (Phillips); and his siblings, Ben, Bessie, Florence, Edith and Mildred.

He is survived by : his children, Sherri Starr (Howard) of Ashtabula, Crystal Frantz (Scott), Megan Cunningham of Dumas Arkansas, Rick Cunningham (Char) of Wyoming, Tom Cunningham (Janet) of Wyoming, Will Cunningham of Texas, Ted Hill of Linesville Pa and Chris; and his brother Willy Cunningham of Indiana. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
