It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Truax (Linesville, Pennsylvania), born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brown and Theresa Snyder Brown; and her spouse Samuel R. Truax Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Simpson of Erie, Samuel R. Truax Jr. of Fort Worth, Nancy Bishop of Erie, Albert Truax of Alabama, Sandra Glancy (George) of Meadville, Shirley Featsent of Linesville, William Truax (Dorothy) of Granbury, Jackie Truax of Sharon, Martha Snyder of Texas, Dolores Shultz of San Antonio, Donna Truax of Tennessee and Elizabeth Truax of Florida; and her siblings, Grace Taylor of Linesville, Edna Bailey (Ray) of Conneaut Lake, George Glancy Jr. (Sandra) of Meadville and Paul Glancy (Brenda) of Conneaut Lake. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
