He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward and Shirley Irene Moss (Hill); his sister Nancy Moss; and his sister-in-law Karen Moss. He is survived by: his wife Chandra D. Moss (Klinginsmith); his children, Sarah Hoffman (Jonathan), Brian Moss (Isabella) and Timothy Moss; his granddaughters, Katelynn, Abbigail, Amelia, Genevieve and Kasey; and his brother Joel Moss. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
