He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence, Sr. Burkholder and Bertha Burkholder (Kreger); his daughter Penny Barnes; and his siblings, Lawrence Burkholder, Jr., Carl Burkholder, Betty Harvey and Elizabeth Young.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Burkholder (Fillman); and his daughters, Dawn Ritter (Richard) of Carolina Shores, NC and Dee Whiteman (Gary) of Montoursville. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
