He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil R. Best and Beatrice Best (Grimes); his granddaughter Amanda "Mandy" Bergstrom; and his siblings, Richard Best (Isabel), Norma L. Tobin and Peggy Kline (Chester).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Bergstrom (Rob Pfirman) of Nisbet, Tina Ashton (Ronald) of South Williamsport and Sherri George (David) of Cogan Station.
