She was predeceased by: her husband David L. Pierce; her parents, Charles H. Simons and Esther Treibley Simons; and her brother Charles David Simons. She is survived by: her children, Terry P. Weaver (Bruce) of Oxford, Carol P. Plank (David) of Lincoln University and Patti P. Rosenberg (Howard) of Lincoln University; her grandchildren, Natalie Stevenson, Cassie Kuhn, Craig Weaver, Sheila Gilles, Cris Plank, Sydni Rosenberg and Michaela Rosenberg; and her brother Paul Simons of Bowie, MD.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
