He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace W., Sr. and Harriet Messler Steffy; and his siblings, Walter Eugene "Rick" Steffy and Kathi Moore. He is survived by: his wife Dian Kilby Steffy; his children, William Darrell Steffy (Joan) of Oxford, Mark Edward Steffy (Lisa) of Dushore, Tricia Ann Heath (Jason) of Oxford, Mandi Renee Thompson (Howard) of Nottingham, John A. Schaible (Nellie) of Oxford and Kevin M. Schaible (Christy) of Oxford; and his sisters, Jennie Johnston of Ephrata and Patricia Arrowood. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
