It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clinton Blackwell Sr. of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, born in Ransom, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Blackwell and Louise Blackwell; his wife Elizabeth K. Blackwell (Karp); and his siblings, Roy, Kenneth Blackwell, Dorothy Frey, Laura Frederick, Helen Martin and Leona Adlesic.
He is survived by: his children, Clinton John Blackwell, Jr. (Rosa) of Landenberg, PA, Barbara L. Powell (Barry) of Franklinton, NC and James A. Blackwell of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by eight beautiful grandchildren and eight exceptional great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
