He is survived by: his sons, Alan Francis Skerrett Jr. of Washington, DC and Gary Skerrett of Bowie; his sister Diane V. Skerrett of Woodbridge, VA; and his close friend Jill Salerno. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
