She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Smith and Blanche Smith (Diehl); and her siblings, Eva Wesley, Elizabeth Metzger, Thelma Russell, Frank and Howard Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond D. Swartz; her daughters, Janice M. Schlegel (Montana L.) of Milmont, Louise J. Styers (Warren) of Mifflinburg and Dawn E. Randler (Ronald W.) of Danville; her grandchildren, Jennifer Fenstermacher, Kyle Miller, Brooke Styers and Torie Libby; and her sister-in-law Lois Smith. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
