She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence M. Leap and Zeta V. Leap (Aurandt); her siblings, Harold Leap, Jane Tortoriello, Mary Lou Shroder and Fritzi Knapp; her brothers-in-law, Torchy Tortoriello, Rex Shroder, Vick Knapp and Jerry Glass; and her close friend Helen Sopchak.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or Lilly-Washington War Memorial Association.
