He was predeceased by: his wife Brigitta Johanna Szilagyi (Rischer). He is survived by: his uncle Reverend Kalman Csia; his son Steven T. Szilagyi; his daughter-in-law Tara M. Szilagyi; his grandchildren, Caroline "Carlin" Szilagyi and Thomas "Zander" Szilagyi; and his cousin Kalman Jr. (Becky Csia).
