He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Matson Sr. and Marjorie Alice Graham Matson; his wife Beverly Sonafelt Matson; and his brother Richard J. Matson Jr.. He is survived by: his children, D. Scott Matson (Stephanie Horner) and Bridget L. Matson (Shawn Marinchak); and his sister Linda Jane Guyer (late Dave). He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grand children, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
