He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Pershing and Mary Helen Pershing (Snyder); and his brothers, Dennis, John, James and Allen Pershing.
He is survived by: his spouse Bradley Hone of Ligonier; his sisters, Linda McKee (Dan) and Patricia Ross (Melvin); and his close friends, Robert Holcombe and Wanda Knight. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
