She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Vete and Catherine Vete (Karmanzyske) of Pittsburgh; and her husband Merle R. Giesey of Ligonier. She is survived by: her children, Merle D. Giesey (Susanna) and Kathleen Giesey.
