He is survived by: his wife Cherie Rubright Ambrose; his children, Richard D. Ambrose Jr. (Alice) of Ligonier, Bonnie Ambrose Underwood of Lancaster, SC and Dee Ambrose-Stahl (Ron) of Stahlstown; his brother James Ambrose (Victoria) of Ligonier; his grandchildren, Cody Underwood, Heather Roddy, Dennis Ambrose, Richard Oslosky and Alicia Oslosky; and his great grandchildren, Julijana, Bayleigh Marron and Violet Underwood.
