He was predeceased by: his parents, Haneal DeCapua and Mary Fury DeCapua; and his siblings, Peter DeCapua, Lucy Hannon and Angeline Moore.

He is survived by: his nieces, Jean Case of Ligonier and Gloria Lewis of Savannah, GA; and his nephew Peter DeCapua.
