With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Avolio in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 13, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Avolio and Mary Avolio (Houser); and his father-in-law Edward Semenko. He is survived by: his wife Michele Avolio (Semenko); his son David Avolio (Gina Higgs); his stepdaughters, Ashley Cerda (Jeremy Wolfe) and Katie Marsh (Andrew); his grandson William Avolio (Renee); his siblings, Sandie Dietrich, Mary Jo Kramer (John), Judi Wood (George), Michael Avolio (Jennilee) and Scott Avolio (Kimberly); his mother-in-law Cheryl Semenko; and his sisters-in-law, Thelma Ponitz (Walter), Dawn Semenko and Carla Payer (Rob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
