It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jay Dick Love of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora K Buell Love and Meade P. Love. He is survived by: his wife Jody Darr Love; his daughters, Sharyn Sullivan (Rich) of Holsopple and Jeanie Horrell (Jim) of New Florence; his grandchildren, Jack, Meghan and Rachel Horrell; his cousin Sue Love; and his siblings-in-law, Laurie Shaulis (Bill) and John Darr (Christy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (144 E Main St, Ligonier, PA 15658). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church or the Fairfield Fire Department.
