He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle L. Hunter and Helen L. Hunter (Repine); and his siblings, Mary Jane Ferry, Merle Hunter and Velma Fortune.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hunter (Stahl); his children, Elaine "Cookie" Ferry (Pat) of Latrobe and Mike Hunter of Ligonier; his granddaughters, Laura Henderson (Kent) of Ligonier and Linda Rhoades (Steve) of Ligonier; his great grandchildren, Madison, Molleigh, Wesley, Kelsey and Margo; and his siblings, Emma T. Hunter, Frank Hunter (Faye), John Hunter (Ruth), Brad Hunter (Connie) and Larry Hunter (Shelley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church (647 Bethel Church Rd, Latrobe, PA 15650). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home Inc. (1500 Ligonier St, Latrobe, PA 15650).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
