He is survived by: his children, Colleen Scaffardi (Robert) of Latrobe, Gary R. Hegan (Mickie) of Latrobe and Sandra Lynn Hegan of Ligonier; his grandchildren, Michael Scaffardi (Rachel), Marina Scaffardi, Kristin Johnston (Nathan), Matthew Hegan (Robin) and Brandon Smolka; and his great grandchildren, Kailey, Logan Johnston, Kendall, Kya, Cooper, Camden Hegan, Maddox and Crosby Scaffardi.
