We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2022, at the age of 96, Freda I. Layton of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Page and Hazel Page (Rice); her husband Irvin D. Layton; her son Daniel Layton; her brother Clair Page; and her son-in-law Bob Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, Brion (Terri), Calvin and Coleen Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Aaron Layton (Becky Weiss), Heather Duffey (Julian), Michael, Sr. Zimmerman (Melissa), Kristi Deemer (Russell), Adam Layton, Cory Layton (Catherine), Katybeth Jones (Jordan), Marie Reale (Philip) and Ross Keiser; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Connor, Casey (Vincent, Sr.), Samuel, Hosea, Russell, Michael Jr., Jacob, Ryan, Breana, Ethen, Gabriella, Hannah, Rowe, Nova, Oak, Enzo, Cooper, Holden, Elise and Avaya; and her great great grandchildren, William, Arabella and Vincent Jr..
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Freda.
