He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Horrell and Myrtle Sweeney Horrell; his wife Betty Hauer Horrell; and his brothers, Robert and William Horrell.

He is survived by: his children, Shirley Dominic (Paul) of Ligonier, Jeffrey C. Horrell (Charisse) of Ligonier and Robert E. Horrell (Mary Jo) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
