She was predeceased by: her parents, Elgie R. Shipley and Margaret "Peg" Brant Klotz; her grandparents, Walter M. Brant, Charles K. and Bertha M. Anderson Shipley; and her uncle Walter M. "Sonny" Brant.

She is survived by: her son Devin Hartman (Kylee Buterbaugh) of Stahlstown; her grandchildren, Braxtyn and Brynlee; her grandmother Nancy Queer Brant of Ligonier; and also, Terry Starrett, John Klotz, Kelly Otterson, Erin Shumbat, Christopher and John McClinton. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

“I met Amy when I first moved to Ligonier. Her son and my daughter went to school together. She was such a sweet, caring person. Over the years we would run into each other in town at different location. Most recently was at Giant Eagle just a few months ago. Deeply saddened by her passing.
