It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Slater (Library, Pennsylvania), born in Homestead, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Slater and Bessie Slater; and his siblings, John Slater (Maude), William Slater (Anna), Hester Wiechelt (Earl) and Evelyn Asson (David).
He is survived by: his children, Pamela (Kenneth Kelly) of Monroe, CT, Ryan (Kristina), Annabelle, Emeline, Adelyn of Monroe, CT, Sarah (Rory Waltzer) of Venice, CA and Thomas (Christina) of Fairfield, CT. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or the Latrobe Presbyterian Church in his name.
