She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Poythress and Edward Prime (Ted); her sister Margaret Prime Dent; her former spouses, Willie James Sims (James Perry) and George Green; and her great-grandparents, Elisa Jane Gibson, Irish and Elias Proctor.
She is survived by: her sons, James "Bookum" (late Harriett Alston), Floyd (Sharon), Robert Glenn (Denita), Sterling (Joyce), Darrin and Derek Fleming; her brother Edward George Prime Jr.; and also Audrey Broadus. She is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
