He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold A. Kreger and Lillie I. Kreger (Cropp); and his brother Larry Kreger (Cindy). He is survived by : his wife Faye L. Kreger (Mitstifer); his children, Bryan Kreger (Karen) of Bellefonte and Bethany Ellis (Pete) of Falls Church, VA.; his grandsons, Tyler, Nicholas Kreger, Demetri and Zachary Ellis; and his siblings, Beatrice Wilson (late Ross), Gary Kreger (Diane) and Maynard Kreger (Sharyn).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (3536 Nauvoo Rd, Liberty, PA 16930). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
