He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hartman and Emma Lucretia Hartman (Montgomery); and his siblings, John, Cliff, Kermit Hartman and Paulette Wernecke.
He is survived by: his wife Edwina "Winnie" Hartman (Mohler); his children, Brent Hartman (Lori) of Milroy, PA, Deborah Grube (Jere) of Manheim, PA and Cory Hartman (Michelle) of Keller, TX.; his grandchildren, Megan Taylor (Jason), Jay Hartman (Lacey), Rachael Horvath (Jeff), Hailie Moore (Riyo), Amanda Grube (Aaron Sweger), Zach Hartman (Trina) and Melissa Grube; his stepgrandsons, Jake Strohecker (Emily) and Isaac Strohecker; his great grandchildren, Vivian, Rylan, Jack Taylor, Clayton and Noah Hartman; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Levi, Delaney and Bode Strohecker.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Bill's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue 16th Floor New York.
