He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Daer Sr. and Ruth H. Daer (Evans); and his stepson Scott E. Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Daer (Barrett); his son William J. Daer (Melody) of Lewistown; his stepdaughter Bobbi J. Lawson (Shanon Hitchcock) of Smethport; his grandchildren, Claudia R. Rheam, Scarlett R. Daer, Tayler Jean, Leah Mae, Austin Scott, Morgan Paige and Chandon Thomas; and his siblings, George R. Daer (Roberta) of Murrysville, PA and Christine Howe of Springfield, OH.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
