He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Carter, Sr. and Myrtle Carter (Shank); his siblings, Bertha Ammerman, Catherine Gahagan, Sylvia Carter, Pauline DeLaura, Dorothy Bennett, Charles McClellan, Dansy Carter, Layfield Carter and Danny Carter; and his great grandchild Melissa Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carter (Host); his children, Connie Mae Hassinger of Lewistown and Brenda McCardle of Lewistown; his grandchildren, Brian Hassinger, Terry "Lynn" Hassinger and Robert Corson; his great grandchildren, Paige Yohn, Angela Myers, Hayley Corson, Conner D. Stewart, Alexis Corson, Aroum Corson, Dekoda Stewart, Xzavier Hassinger and Alex Corson; his great great grandchild Karley Yohn; and his sister Shirley Hayes of Edinboro.
