He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Packer; and his siblings, April Paige and Tony Gross. He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Clark of Lewistown, Richard Packer of Mifflintown, Patrick Packer (Lisa) of Lewistown, Martin Packer of Baltimore, Theodara "T. V." Brittain (Terry) of Lewistown, Kitty Packer of McVeytown and Robin Harpster (Eugene) of Yeagertown; his nieces and nephews, Raymond Paige, Janis Hassinger, William Packer, Molly Packer, Danielle Lemin, Shane Packer, Brian Packer, Scarlett Packer, Saturn Bankert and Venus Shade; and his great-nephews, Michael, Austin and Benjamin.
