It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Leon Aurand of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, born in Mifflin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Aurand and Anna Mary Aurand (Klinger); his wife Roberta Jean Aurand (Peeler); his siblings-in-law, John Peeler and Dale Peeler; and his pets, Abby and Sandy.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Brode (Ross) of Reedsville, Leslie Fink (Mark) of Lewistown and Joe Aurand (Lynn) of Lewistown; his grandchildren, Kristie McKnight (Robert) of Reedsville, Dustin Fink (Jennifer) of North Carolina, Jillian Kochenderfer (Dan) of Lewistown, Caleb Aurand (Sharon) of Texas, Michael Brode (Alex Strunk) of Florida, Hannah Aurand (Tara Garst) of Maryland and David Aurand (Brooke) of Hershey; his great grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Marlo, Brody, Crue, Lila, Aven, Selah, Grace, Ava, Carson, Noah and Luke; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Shoop and Carolyn Shoop of Belleville.
