He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Sr. Long and Catherine H. Long (Stimely); his siblings, George Long, James E. Long Jr., Peggy Hummel and Nancy Nicholson; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Long.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Long (Blessing); his children, Elizabeth V. Long of Santa Rosa, Calif, Robert T. Long Jr. of Lewistown and Michael G. Long (Karin) of Camp Hill; his grandchildren, Rachel E. Leach (Brandon) of Mount Holly Springs, Heidi B. Long of Hawaii, Jackson Long (Elda) of Myrtle Beach and Nate Long of Camp Hill; and his sister Kay V. Martin (Donald) of Belleville. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
