He is survived by: his wife Darlene Wertz (Yeater); his children, Kelly Peters (Michael) of Lewistown, Jody Aumiller of Lewistown, Marcy Russell (Stefan) of Lewistown and Richard Wertz, Jr. of Lewistown; his sister Kay Wertz of Reedsville; his grandchildren, Jennifer Russler, Ryan Laub (Kelsey), Katlyn Kreider (Matthew), Alex Peters (Racheal) and Stephanie Aumiller; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Russell, Hillary Green, Suzanne Murray, Cody Peters, Kyle Peters, Zane Peters and Troy Peters; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Aubrey Laub, Knox Hartman and Locke Kreider; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Nolan Peters, Porter Peters, Jonna Peters, Elijah Peters, Abigail Peters, Kaija Green, Dresyn Green, Jashaun Green and Mia Green.
