He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Hower and Kathleen Hower (Bowsman); and his brother Ronnie Hower. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Hower (Goss); his sons, Christopher Hower of Harrisburg and Douglas Hower (Miranda) of Belleville; his siblings, Robert Hower of McClure, Larry Hower (Linda) of Texas and Shirley Johns of Lewistown; and his grandsons, Ian, Ty and Noah Hower.
