He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. "Pete" Hogle and Janice Hogle (Lepley); and his siblings, Richard Orth and Janice Straub. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Orth (Klinger) of Lewistown; his siblings, Sharon Stum of Harrisburg, Fred Lepley (Chrissy) of Milmont, Michael Orth (Kim) of Lewistown and Ruth Hubler (Bill) of Lewistown; and his stepchildren, Shaun DeCando (Jennifer Shinn) of Harrisburg and Heather Donnelly (David) of Shermansdale. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
