She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd P. Wertz and Jane A. Wertz (McCurry); and her sisters, Susan Smith and Kathleen "Kathy" Walls. She is survived by: her husband John Ronald Swanger; her brother John B. Wertz (Suzanne) of Mount Pleasant, S. C.; and her nieces and nephews, Craig Smith (Leslie) of Mount Joy, Jennifer Edwards (David) of State College, Amy Moreau (Wertz) of Coleman, Mitchell Wertz of West Chester, Brad Walls of Lewistown, Amanda Walls of Pine Hill, N. J and Patty.
